Memorandum of Understanding

MoU between the Department of Law, Rajshahi University, and the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, India.

NLIU’s delegate team led by Prof. Dr. Ghayur Alam, Dean of Undergraduate Studies, National Law Institute University, Bhopal, India, has come to Rajshahi University for an academic visit. The two students from NLIU, Ms. Payal Dubey and Mr. Shivansh Vishwakarma are also included in the team.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed between the University of Rajshahi (RU), Rajshahi, Bangladesh, and Sister Nivedita University, West Bengal, India.

On behalf of the Department of Law, Sister Nivedita University, Dr. Debashree Mukherjee, Professor and Dean, School of Law, SNU, has signed the agreement. On the other hand, on behalf of the Department of Law, Rajshahi University, Dr. Md. Hashibul Alam Prodhan, Professor and Chairman, Department of Law, RU, has signed the agreement. During the signing of the agreement, among others Prof. Anupam Basu, Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Suman Chatterjee, Registrar, Prof. Dr. Manik Chakraborty, Professor Emeritus, Sister Nivedita University, and Professor Dr. M. Ahsan Kabir were present.

Department of Law, University of Rajshahi signs student exchange program initiative with Aligarh Muslim University, India.

The Department of Law at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, has taken a significant step towards international collaboration by signing a student exchange program initiative with Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in India. This initiative will allow for academic exchange and research cooperation between the two institutions.

Delegates from Rajshahi, led by Prof. Hashibul Alam Prodhan, Chairman of the Department of Law, met with faculty members at AMU to discuss potential areas of cooperation. Both sides expressed their desire to increase academic activities and enhance research opportunities for students and scholars.

Prof. Mohammad Ashraf, Chairman of the Department of Law at AMU, highlighted the university’s commitment to fostering a global culture of educational excellence through such exchange programs and international partnerships. This initiative promises to be a valuable opportunity for students and faculty at both universities.
